Learn how to add, configure, and organize your alert endpoints.
A node is an alert endpoint - typically a speaker, display, or notification device that receives emergency broadcasts. Each node has: - A unique name and location - An HTTP endpoint URL - Status tracking (online/offline)
Use clear, consistent naming conventions:
✓ Main Entrance - Building A
✓ Cafeteria Speaker - Floor 2
✓ Parking Garage Alert - Level B1
✗ Node 1
✗ Test
✗ Speaker
Warning: This action cannot be undone. The node will be immediately removed from all alert broadcasts.
Use the filter dropdowns to view specific subsets: - Building - Filter by building name - Floor - Filter by floor level - Status - Show only online, offline, or pending nodes
We recommend this format for consistency:
Building [Name/Number] - Floor [Level] - [Specific Location]
Examples:
Building 1 - Floor 3 - North Hallway
Building 2 - Roof - Emergency Exit
Building A - Garage - Section C
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| 🟢 Online | Node is connected and ready |
| 🔴 Offline | Node is not responding |
| 🟡 Pending | Node is being configured |
If a node shows as offline: 1. Verify the HTTP endpoint is correct 2. Check network connectivity 3. Ensure the device is powered on
